Comfort Finish Cork Flooring - CorkDecor™ Floors - Select Line Floor Collection - Jelinek Cork Floating Floors - Jelinek Cork Mosaic Floors - Safety Floors of Cork & Rubber Jelinek Cork Group has been supplying cork flooring throughout the world for many decades. Today the company remains the oldest existing supplier of cork floors and other related cork products. With the many years of experience in the cork flooring business and through innovative research in design, technology, and production Jelinek cork flooring continues to be recognized for excellent quality, innovation, uniqueness and choice. Many Jelinek cork flooring installations made in the mid 1950’s are still in excellent condition today. In keeping environmental and natural products in the forefront, Jelinek Cork Group was one of the founders of an innovative wine cork collection & recycling initiative. Hundreds of thousands of used wine corks are collected each year. Jelinek recycles these corks and uses them (among other products) in the production of some of the cork flooring, described below. There are numerous reasons which make Jelinek cork flooring the ideal floor covering whether for residential, commercial, or industrial purposes:
Besides being decorative and functional, Jelinek cork flooring over most other floor coverings provides the added benefits of insulating against temperature, airborne sound, and pounding noise. Imagine the perfect floor...fashionable and beautiful to look at, yet easy to care for...quiet, soft and warm to the touch, yet durable enough to handle all kinds of traffic - pets, children, high heels. Cork, as a natural product, warms and enriches any interior. Cork flooring always blends in well with other decors and furniture and is available in a wide range of colors. Jelinek Cork floor coverings are of the finest
quality resulting from strictly supervised production and on-going
quality control procedures. Additionally, production of Jelinek cork
flooring is environmentally friendly. No cork trees are cut down,
only the bark is peeled without destroying the tree, and it grows
back within nine years, ready to be harvested again. It is important to familiarize yourself about cork flooring. Knowing the facts about cork floors and how to inspect, install, and maintain them will give you years of pleasure and satisfaction. uses a natural finish. Jelinek Cork's exclusive Comfort Finish
is formulated from vegetable oil. This natural, environmentally friendly
surface finish gives the tile a warm, soft feeling (like leather). It protects the
floor while maintaining the look and feel of this renewable resource - cork. In
general the surface of a Comfort Finish floor does not need to be recoated -- even after
years of use! By cleaning the floor once per month with a special
cleaner (available through Jelinek Cork) you will reapply a small
amount of oil to the existing finish. Comfort finish flooring is available
in both glue down tiles and floating floors. Contact Jelinek Cork for further details or

Patterns and designs are unique, creative, and original but at the same time possess all the characteristic of the CorkDecor™ series described above. Installation is easy. Glue tiles directly to subfloors. Jelinek Cork Floating Floors are
produced according to the strictest quality standards and offer long
lasting and excellent thermal and acoustic resistance. Floating cork
floors come in a variety of patterns that are specially designed to
blend with most interiors, adding a touch of distinction and comfort.
Installation by tongue and groove method is easy and economical. Jelinek
Cork Floating Floors can be installed over most surfaces with little
or no subfloor preparation. Jelinek Cork Mosaic Floors are produced from recycled wine corks. The wine corks are cut into circular discs about 6mm (1/4") thick and glued on a special paper backing to form interesting and unique mosaic patterns. We are the exclusive rights holder of this new and distinctive cork flooring concept, that uses recycled cork and cork waste to create beautiful ecologically friendly floors. Jelinek Cork Mosaic installation is similar to common mosaic and ceramic tiles using the "glue then grout" method (Slide Show). Jelinek Cork Mosaic floors can remain natural cork color or be stained to any other color. These floors have all the characteristics and benefits of regular cork floors but besides being suitable in most common rooms such as bathrooms, kitchens and entranceways, they are also suitable for saunas, showers, pool surrounds, and other potentially wet areas.
