During the 1950’s factories, distribution centers, and offices were also established by Jelinek in both USA and Canada. Jelinek Cork flooring was used in a recent episode of "My Parents' House" on HGTV. Using environmentally
friendly and recycled materials, such as cork flooring, the team created "An Eco-Friendly Oasis".
Jelinek Cork's showroom, The Cork House, recently hosted a seminar
for Royal LePage realtors. This seminar provided realtors with information about The Cork House and its history,
from relocating the home to its restoration and current use. The seminar also focused on the many uses of
cork in home decor including cork flooring, wall coverings and cork furniture. Its important for realtors and
decorators to realize the importance of environmentally friendly products, such as cork.
