Pottery Corks and Bungs

Corks and bungs of all sizes are required by pottery makers. The natural characteristics of cork stoppers add to the natural appearance of pottery, ceramic and clay works. At the same time, more often then not, the openings of pottery and ceramic containers are not uniform and tapered corks will usually compensate for these opening size variances. It is the unique ability of cork stoppers to “mold” themselves to such extreme size differences that make pottery corks and bungs the choice of ceramic makers.
